Kaylin is now 4 months old, where has the time gone!? It seems like she is doing something new everyday now. Her new favorite thing is to screech, she will wake me up in the morning screeching and when I go to get her she will look at me and start to laugh. She now weighs 15 pounds 11 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches tall. She did well with her 4 month shots too. I am very lucky that she only seems to be affected the day of and it's only a low grade temp.
Last night at church she was trying to turn the song book pages (almost like she was reading). I was afraid of her getting a paper cut so we moved the book away and she started grunting and pouting until we gave the book back to her (the book is really a 3 ring binder with regular paper in it, that was why I was afraid of paper cuts).
Bed time is much better now. She doesn't seem to scream like she used to, just another sign that my baby girl is growing up. I am actually able to just lay her down in her crib for naps sometimes and she will lay there and talk herself to sleep.
Her poo seems to be getting better since I have stopped eating/drinking dairy. She has still had a couple of days where it goes back to being nasty but I figure it's the dairy still working its way out of her system. I have read that it can take up to 4 weeks for the dairy to completely leave her system (about 2 weeks for it to leave mine and then 2 weeks for it to leave hers). On a side note the rash that she was getting periodically on her face is getting much better, this could have been a side affect of the dairy as well.

Doesnt time just fly!!! Abby is a screecher too but she does it when she is not getting enough attention, especially if I am talking to Joey!! :-) Abby wakes me up by rolling her tongue around on the outside of her mouth. TOny taught her one day and it cracks me up and she knows it. SHe keeps making that noise until she sees me and then she snarls up her nose and gives me a big toothy grin in her "arent i cute" smile!!
Glad bedtime is working itself out! THat is one of the hardest things about getting used to being a mom, I think!! I personally like to sleep, dont know about you?!? :-)
Glad to hear thiinkgs are better without the milk! WE foght and fought with Joeys stuff when she was younger because she hada rash on most of her body for the longest time. WE switched my diet, etc. Turned out to be Tony had been buying cheaper laudry soapp and putting it in the baby soap bottles, not to sneak but because the baby soap bottle had a cool nozzle on it. SO when the doc went to check soap I told her we had not changed it lately when we had.
ALso, so you know, I HAD t get that Janelle CD and I LOVED IT!! Joey is tired of listening to it! It has several tearjerker songs on it!!! Not a fan of all of the songs but there are several good ones on it!1 Thanks!!
About your paper cut comment, TOny jsut read it and said, "Wait until your baby is 3 or 4 years old with legs that look like shes been attacked with a baseball bat!" Made me re-realize how attached and protective TOny is of the girls!! (FYI, TOny is referring to a few days ago when he saw her legs up close and she was covered with little bruise, not from anyone, just from her playing outside. Her poor little legs! Both kneew have 2-3 cuts and soars on them and her legs are bruised up one side and down the other. No big bruses and no one is hurting her, its just typical playing so hard bruises and it bothered TOny a lot more than I realized!!
