36 Weeks, Wow!

Well, I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and start weekly doctor appointments....9 months pregnant, YAY! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has been going. Our little girl is doing great and moving around quite a bit, at times it feels like she is going to come out through my belly button or lower abdomen. It can be quite comical to watch my belly do all kinds of different movements.

Things have been going well, I have had all my showers now and pretty much have everything that we absolutely have to have for her. I still don't have a swing but figure that is something that we can get a little later. I need to get some more books for her and some toys, we only have a few rattles and two books right now. We have quite a few onesies and footed sleepers so I think we are good there. I have a diaper bag now but am not quite sure what to pack in it, I have some diapers and diaper ointment in there but that's it so far, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not so sure that this little girl will wait to arrive until February 23 either. I have been having some pre-labor symptoms. She has dropped, I am starting to nest, I can't stand or walk for an extended period of time without my groin killing me (sharp shooting pains that make me want to fall to the floor), and some BH contractions. Of course as this is our first baby I have know idea about when she will be here could be that I go past my due date too.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Wow, we will have our babies before we know it!! (mine actually is next week...I need to post on yahoo about that!!). Looks like it's getting closer!
As for the diaper bag, you don't need much for the hospital. A few diapers, a onesie, going home outfit, a few receiving blankets. The hospital provides almost everything.
As for packing for going out after you're home: diapers (lots of them!), wipes, diaper ointment, baby lotion, 2 or 3 extra outfits or sleepers, 2 or 3 extra onesies, bottle and formula if not bfing, pacifier (if you are using one), several receiving blankets, 1 or 2 toys (though you don't really need those until they are about 3 months old), teether, teething gel or tablets, infant tylenol.
I think that's it! LOL I know it's a lot. :)
